Round 4 of the ACU Trial GB took place this past weekend with the longest trial of the series at the Lakeland venue in the Lake District.

Jack Peace collected his first British win of the season, following up on his victory on the world level last weekend to maintain the pressure on championship leader Toby Martyn. Defending champion, Iwan Roberts, stood on the podium for the first time this year after a difficult start to 2021 edging out Billy Green on the tie-break.

Andy Chilton recovered well from a maximum on the last section of lap two to win the Trial 2 class by nine marks from round one winner, Alexz Wigg. Chilton now leads the championship by two-points from Ross Danby who finished third on the day.

Harry Hemingway maintained his unbeaten run in the Trial 125 with Harry Turner finishing second and George Hemingway in third, the same podium for all four rounds thus far.

However the highlight of the day was in the Trial Expert class where Emma Bristow took her maiden victory. Despite suffering two maximums on her final lap the seven-time world champion secured top step of the podium ahead of Thomas Affleck, with Lloyd Price in third.
